Matomoはユーザーデータを利用せず、すべてのデータがクライアントに帰属するので、行政やセキュリティに厳しい企業にも適しています。サイトの運営方法に応じて、データ取得の方法をサーバーログ方式とウェブビーコン方式から選択できます。
オプション機能にヒートマップなどもあり、さらに高度な解析も可能です。ローデータに近いデータも容易に抽出できるため、システムとの連携も得意です。
データ取得の方法でサーバーログ方式を選択した場合、ログデータがサーバー内に蓄積するため、思わぬ負荷や遅延につながりやすいので注意してください。
Matomo

Matomo does not use user data and all data belongs to the client, making it suitable for governments and companies with strict security. Depending on how you operate your site, you can choose the data acquisition method from server log method or web beacon method.
Optional functions such as heat maps are also available, allowing even more advanced analysis. It is also good at linking with systems because it can easily extract data that is close to raw data.
Please note that if you select the server log method for data acquisition, the log data will accumulate on the server, which can easily lead to unexpected load and delays.
