Digital Security Seminar at IGCI

 At the seminar held at IGCI (The INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation) in Singapore on September 12th and 13th, 2017, Eijiri Representative of the web analyst association did the seminar.

 Ejiri made a presentation to police officials and law enforcement in each country.

 IGCI is the base of Interpol located in Singapore established in April 2015. The first director is Noboru Nakaya who is a Japanese. IGCI is a state-of-the-art research and development facility for the purpose of crime and criminal discovery, innovation training, operation support to each country, and partnership.

 Now that large-scale cybercrime goes around the world, the importance of investigation and investigation to deter and arrest against cross-border cybercrime is increasing more and more. Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization) has traditionally conducted criminal investigations and investigation cooperation across national borders, but the organization “IGCI” specializing in cyber crime was founded based on the world situation.

 In 2008 Interpol became an attack target of cyber crime. To that fact Nakaya felt a crisis and investigated “vulnerability of interpol against cyber attack”. Mr. Nakatani submitted the report to Secretary-General Ronald Noble of Interpol at that time. As a result, Mr. Nakaya was selected as the director of the IT department and was to engage in the launch of IGCI.

 This time, based on the web analytics knowledge of the web analytics association, how should we use it in the future cyber society? What kind of technology can we use to deal with cyber crime? IGCI was to propose the viewpoint of IGCI, the purpose was to utilize the Web of law enforcement agencies in the future society, and to help deter and cope with cyber crime.

 We will continue to make efforts to promote constructive utilization and promotion of web analytics by the web analyst association.
