[KIT] 3 reasons why you should get enough sleep

Our generation tends to think that sleep is not a necessity for us and they tend to stay up late until 12 to 2 am which should be the prime time for their rest. The majority of the young generation sleeps really late at night because they have work to do for school or their workplace, which sets their mindset that you should rest later when you are successful or when your work is done, they always have that mentality of sleep should be a reward for when you finish your work. While other teenagers spend their time using their smartphone to interact with others on the internet or doing other stuff like gaming or watching movies, which resulted in them having a bad habit of going to bed at 2 or 3 am everyday. These types of habits could affect their health in the future in a bad way, but because of their lack of knowledge on the benefits of sleep they tend to neglect it. These are the 3 reasons why you should get enough sleep.

  • You will be more productive

As we all know sleeping means that you allow your body to rest along with your brain. Your brain will have less strain from thinking about all the problem or all the thing you have to do for a short period of time which is a cool down for your brain to regenerate and collect all the thought so that the next time you use it you will be more productive and it will be better to think of solution and ideas since your brain has more energy than those who didn’t get enough rest. 

  • You will be healthy 

The majority who sleep less then the usual amount, would have greater chance of facing health problem such as stomach problem, usual headache, and their body will feel tired most of the time, while the people who get enough sleep will have less chance of facing headache and other type of health problem, since the body have enough time to rest and cool down while their resting calories is in used and their stomach will stop to rest as well, which won’t make it eat itself and wont cause you stomach pain. The rejuvenation of the body will also mean that the body has replenished their energy including the brain and it won’t make you feel tired all the time.  

  • You will look younger and better 

In real life when you look at people who don’t get enough sleep often, their face will look older than their actual age, and their face will be full of acne, while their every will have a dark circle around them. The less you sleep the more stress hormone your body will produce which is the cause of the dark circle around your eye. As for our skin, when we sleep our skin cells will rejuvenate and repair itself, but when we don’t get enough sleep the repair process is not going as well which will result in a lot of toxin and fluid not drained fully, and will cause acne to your face. 

In Conclusion our generation should sleep more if we want to live a longer and more beautiful life, with less stress because of our lack of sleep and neglecting our natural mechanism of resting.
