[KIT] How to avoid of University’s Trap

Learn what you never knew better than nothing.

In Cambodia, graduate students especially from either the countryside or provide, they didn’t know much about the social and the impact of human persuasion. As a result, they’re easy to fall in the trap and decide to choose the wrong path to continue their university life.

Cambodian students in the countryside, since they lack economy, try to find the scholarship to support themself and take themself from their family’s shoulders by doing part-time jobs. Based on these factors, some disqualified schools took revenue from the weakness points and tried to convince them to study in their school and promise to find the good with a high salary after graduation. Moreover, they will provide the best opportunities to the students to prepare themself to enroll with the famous universities. Who knows that it’s a real word and students really can enroll with the school they want.

Most universities such IFL (Institute of Forieng Language), Techno (Institute of Technology of Cambodia) and University of Health, they are stickly to choose the students to enroll their university by providing the enrollment exam with the huge amount of candidates that some students never thought they will pass the exam and get the scholarship to learn in the expensive universities. Honestly, if students want to study in famous universities, they are not necessary to spend a huge amount of money to prepare and trap with the job opportunities without knowing the background of the providers. Graduated students already had the basic knowledge and prepared well from their high school, yet they just lack confidence and faith on themself that’s why they tried hard to study in many places.

From my own experience, I graduated from high school in 2019. In that time, when I was at high school, I did prepare a lot to enroll in the IFL since it’s one of the most famous universities in Cambodia and it provides the full scholarship as well. However, when I arrived in Phnom Penh, I studied in many places to prepare myself since I lack faith, don’t want to miss the opportunity and don’t want my family to spend so much money on my academy. One day, my friends called me to listen one of english school that I had never heard of before. I am really excited because the school said that I will find the job early and can support myself while studying in Phnom Penh. One more thing, they will train me to be able to study in the Institute of Forieng Language. Unfortunately, when I listened, I started to reveal myself I am losing my mind and cannot control the situation. That school forced me to enroll in their school and they tried to contact me one and once again, which made me understand and uncomfortable with them. Finally, I decide to block their number and their connection.

Surprisingly, after the results were released, I passed the exam and I can study in IFL. The message I want to tell is trust yourself and don’t believe or follow others’ choice earlier because we don’t know what will happen and it is good or bad for you.
