Learn to focus and have time to relax
Now you should know how long you can concentrate before you rest. Break time can range from 20 to 60 minutes. Use a scheduler to set your focus sessions and break times as well.
Choose a topic for each course
Start each course knowing what you are going to focus on at the time. Do not sit back and think, ‘I have to make some adjustments without knowing what you are going to study.
Seek help from something you do not yet understand
Ask your teacher or find another book in the library or browse the internet. It is your responsibility to make sure you understand every aspect of the subject.
Sleep well
Sleep is very important to make sure that all the good learning you do is memorized in your brain.
Exercise
Scientists are constantly showing new evidence that exercise helps your brain. It also gives your brain the rest of the study and relieves stress.
For my experience:
When I was studied at high school, I was never preparing for my monthly exam. I also have a hard time for study for every exam. It was very hard for me until I asked for a advices from my teacher. He said:
1. You should focus on the lesson when you’re studying and when the exam nearly arrive, you have to give a time for yourself to relax so your brain will think faster.
2. You should know what to study and do not study what ever you like. It is like a waste of time if you study something but it is not appear in the exam.
3. You should understand the lesson before doing the exam if you did not understand the lesson you can ask someone to explain you while studying not while doing the exam.
4. A night before an exam you should treat yourself a good sleep and do not about the exam because it can make your brain overthinking and your brain will think slower for tomorrow exam.
5. Don’t just sit and sleep at home, your brain will work slower. You should go outside and do some exercise and it also reduce your stress.
