First, for young people, they would like to go for an adventure trip by
riding their motorcycle or walking into the forest to explore something new or other beautiful places. For example, by coming to Kirirom they can go to many places such as; heaven cliff, suicide cliff, waterfall, etc. Also they can have an opportunity to interact with local villagers and learn more about their daily life.
Second, for older generation they would to visit somewhere that can make
them feel relax and far from the crowded. Third, since Cambodia people income is a little low now, so when they choose a destination to visit, first thing they have to do is checking the price, is it affordable or not. Also some people would like to purchase something that is really cheap but give them lots of benefits.
Fourth, there are still some people don’t like to be over westernized so
they decided to choose a destination that related to the culture or traditional of Cambodia. For example, Angkor Wat, Cambodian Culture Village they still would like to go there again and again even they have gone there a hundred times already.
Fifth, mostly for baby boomer they still want to keep their traditional way
in purchase the products so they would go to somewhere that they can find the local products which presented for Cambodia history of culture. For example, Kampong Chhnang they can see the local people making the palm sugar as well as there are still some families produce the pots under their house.
Nowadays the effective way in markets your products, services or destination to go viral are often interested in using buzz marketing. In order to create the buzz marketing I would like to create kind of funny commercial video that is related to my products or services and post it on social media so that people will think that is the funny video which quickly promote about their products and it can go viral when they share it to their friends or family.
All in all, the factors that we have mentioned above really has an impact on
how the consumers to purchase the products and service in travel and tourism industry and all the business owner should study and practice the buzz marketing to gain more knowledge and use it in order to effectively promote their products and services.
