[KIT] Some simple way you can relieve your stress

Stress is a really common thing for people to face during their lifetime especially when they have grown into adulthood with all the responsibility and routine that they have done according to plan. But when things don’t go as planned or when the responsibilities are too much for them to handle, it will cause stress for them, due to much strain on the brain and the emotion. Stressing too much could affect our health and mess up our psychology which may turn one insane. That is why everyone needs to know ways to relieve stress from their body and mind and here how they can do it.  

  •  Exercise: 

It might sound ironic, but the fact is that you can put stress onto your physical body in order to release the stress mentally in your mind. Most of the time people who have built up anxiety and stress are all because they don’t exercise regularly making the stress build up in the body constantly and there are few reasons why: 

  • Stress Hormones: In the long term, exercising decreases the body’s stress levels, such as cortisol. It also helps to release endorphins, molecules that increase the mood and serve as natural painkillers.
  • Sleep: Exercise will also boost the consistency of your sleep, which can be influenced adversely by stress and anxiety.
  • Confidence: You can feel more capable and secure in your body when you exercise daily, which in turn encourages mental health.
  • Laugh more: 

They said that laughter is the key to happiness, and it is true. When you laugh more you will be less likely to feel stress since your brain only thinks about the happy stuff that makes you laugh currently, so it won’t think about the problem or the sad things that you are facing. Plus laughter will help you improve your mood and immune system in the long term. 

A test of people with cancer showed that people reported more stress relief in the laughter intervention category than those who were actually distracted.

  • Meditate: 

Learning how to find inner peace and collecting thought will help you to prioritize what you should be thinking about, while letting go of the problems that are unnecessary for you to deal with. Therefore, with less problems to think about you feel less anxious and stressed. You can start your day off by taking a small time of 10 to 15 mins to meditate in order to give your mind preparation for what you will be facing during the whole day. Moreover, you can let go and forgive all the things that are ticking you off or holding you back just to build your stress up. 

  • Find your own entertainment: 

Different people have different kinds of entertainment that they like, while some love playing sport, some will like to lay down and enjoy their favorite show on TV or on some streaming service. Therefore, you should do something that you enjoy doing to relieve stress such as: playing video games, watching movie/anime, gardening, or even painting.
